Job Summary:

The Salesforce Techno-Functional Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technical and functional aspects of our Clients Salesforce platform. This role requires a strong blend of Salesforce technical expertise, functional business acumen, and leadership capabilities. The manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the platform meets clients business needs and supports organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in coding standards, integration, and data management.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and assess new features for potential use.

Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate with clients business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and system designs.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to drive user adoption and proficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for business processes and system configurations.

Project Management:

  • Lead Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.

System Administration:

  • Oversee the daily administration and support of Salesforce applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality through regular audits and maintenance.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a long-term strategy for Salesforce to support business growth and innovation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align Salesforce initiatives with overall IT strategy.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, development, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities and CPQ.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or Architect is good to have.
  • Proven experience in leading Salesforce projects and teams.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and how to translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and middleware.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with third-party applications and AppExchange products.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce technologies.
